チュウゴクオオサンショウウオとは、オオサンショウウオ科に属する両生類の一種である。「タイリクサンショウウオ」「シナハンザキ」とも呼ばれる。
形状[編集]
濃い地色で、淡い斑紋がある傾向がある。
頭部は日本のオオサンショウウオと比べ、広めで、イボが少なく滑らか。
尾は長い。
生態[編集]
中国大陸に分布する。
分類[編集]
かつては、オオサンショウウオ属はオオサンショウウオとチュウゴクオオサンショウウオの2種であるとされていた。
2018年、遺伝子解析からチュウゴクオオサンショウウオには5～8種が含まれるとする論文が発表された[1]。
2019年に、上記の論文で記録された一群が"Andrias sligoi"(ミナミチュウゴクオオサンショウウオ)で、A. davidianusはD群であるとされる[2]。
2022年、U2系統が‘‘Andrias jiangxiensis’’として記載。
2023年、E郡が“Andrias cheni“として新種記載される[3]。
2024年、遺伝子解析からチュウゴクオオサンショウウオは9種である可能性が指摘された。9種の内、学名定まっているのは4種のみである[4]。
人間との関係[編集]
保全[編集]
チュウゴクオオサンショウは、生息地の減少と分断や食用・伝統薬用のための乱獲により数を減らしている。
外来種問題[編集]
1972年に岡山県の貿易業者が中国より約800匹(もしくは1300匹)を輸入した。然し、翌年9月までに300 匹が死亡している。20匹程がペット用として販売されていた。
チュウゴクオオサンショウウオは、ヤマトオオサンショウウオと交雑し、遺伝子撹乱が起きている。またヤマトよりも 凶暴で、繁殖期行われるオス同士の闘争と繁殖場所の競合が起きている。
鴨川のオオサンショウウオは、チュウゴクとヤマトの雑種が多い。
2024年5月28日、チュウゴクオオサンショウウオを含む海外産オオサンショウウオが特定外来生物に指定する事が、閣議決定し、7月1日より実行された。
