スッポン属(Pelodiscus)とは、スッポン科に分類される属である[1]。遺伝子・形状的に7種が知られる[2]。スッポン属は南アジアに分布し、アムール川から中国・朝鮮半島、ベトナム南部で見られる[3]。日本のものは人的移入とする説がある[2]。
中国におけるスッポン属の遺伝子型は多様性に溢れ、その一部は別種に相当する可能性がある。
しかし、スッポン属は数千年前から養殖が行われた養殖、特に20世紀後半以降に行われた大規模な養殖の影響で、野生個体と養殖個体が交雑し、これらの系統の存続が危ぶまれる自体になっている[4]。

- Pelodiscus shipian Gong, Fritz, Vamberger, Gao & Farkas, 2022 — Chinese stone slab softshell turtle[6]
- チュウゴクスッポン Pelodiscus sinensis (Wiegmann, 1835) — Chinese softshell turtle[1]
- Pelodiscus variegatus Farkas et al., 2019 — spotted softshell turtle[3]
記載者・年にカッコがついている種は、当初は別の属と考えられていた。
