カワニナ属

カワニナ属とは、腹足綱カワニナ科に分類される淡水性巻き貝の属。水生で蓋を持つ[1][2]。

本属の全種は胎生である[3]。

種[編集]

カワニナ種群(Semisulcospira libertina species complex)は、カワニナ(S. libertina), チリメンカワニナ(S. reiniana)、クロダカワニナ(S. kurodai)、そしてヒタチチリメンカワニナ(S. trachea)で構成される[7]

  • Semisulcospira trivolvis Yen, 1939: Sulcospira paludiformis (Yen, 1939)のシノニムとされる。

生態[編集]

カワニナ属貝類は、ブルーギル等の魚肉等を食べる[8]。

利用[編集]

カワニナ属貝類は、食用になる。韓国料理に利用され、「コンジー」と呼ばれるお粥の風味付けに使われる。
