いまたに(Imatani)は、メインベルト小惑星の1つで、直径約6km、周期3.87年で太陽の周りを公転している。小惑星(24841)である。 1995年10月30日に円舘金と渡辺和郎によって発見された。
日本のアマチュア天文家で、日本スペースガード協会理事の今谷拓郎(1968.8.19-)にちなんで命名された。[1]

Takuro Imatani (b. 1968) is a Japanese electrical engineer and amateur astronomer. He is the leader of the Osaka branch of the non-profit organization Oriental Astronomical Association (founded in 1920) and is known as an astronomy popularizer. He is also interested in planetary defense. [2]
